Strathaven Café Bridge on behalf of Health Help International

Supporting disadvantaged communities in Zambia and India

Wednesday 4th June 2025 10:45am - 4:00pm

We are pleased to announce the third ever Café Bridge Day in beautiful Strathaven, organised by Health Help International with the help of Victor Lesk. The sun always shines on Café Bridge, and it is impossible not to have a good time, especially in the company of Scotland's friendliest bridge players.

Play bridge in Strathaven's fine eateries, and discover the hidden treasures of this historic market town on the Powmillon Burn.

Strathaven Café Bridge is now provisionally full. However, the organisers are looking for space to expand the event.

Strathaven Café Bridge is now full for 2025.

Please click the following link to register your interest in participating. In case of a cancellation, we will contact you and find out if you are still available to play.

The cost to enter the event is £60.00 per pair, to include a day of convivial bridge and a light lunch. Please sign up below using the link for your preferred payment method:

If you were on the waiting list but have been given a place, please pay using one of these methods:

More information about our beneficiary can be found here:

Instructions for arrival on the 4th June: Registration will be held at Avendale Church, 59A Kirk St Strathaven, ML10 6LB, from 10:00am onwards. Only one member of each partnership needs to register, but if your partnership is scoring, then the phone-owner should be present.

Scores are entered by players on their phones using the BriAn app-based scoring system. This allows us to declare a winner very soon after the last board is played. If you have not come across BriAn before, you can find out more here.

Please contact us with any questions about the event. We look forward to welcoming you on 4th June.
