Lyric Square, Hammersmith Café Bridge fund raising event on behalf of H+F Giving

We are pleased to announce the Lyric Square, Hammersmith Café Bridge of 2025, a fund raising event organised by Michael Brown acting as agent for H+F Giving. The sun always shines on Café Bridge, and it is impossible not to have a good time, especially in the company of London and Surrey's friendliest bridge players.

Lyric Square, Hammersmith Café Bridge is now provisionally full. However, the organisers are looking for space to expand the event.

The entry price will depend on your preference of lunch restaurants.

More information about our Charity: H&F Giving is a charitable foundation set up to support areas of need in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. Densely populated and diverse, the borough suffers from stark levels of inequality: we aim to connect the borough so that every person and every generation can give what they can, or get what they need to thrive.

Since 2018, H&F Giving has distributed over £1 million to local community groups in the borough, supporting local organisations that make a big difference, whether it is supporting digital literacy, helping refugees, or people affected by the cost-of-living crisis. As part of their core activities, H&F run a range of targeted appeals and campaigns in the borough to help unlock support. This includes raising funds for a Christmas Day lunch for older and vulnerable people who would otherwise spend the day alone.

Your participation in the Café Bridge will directly support H&F Giving's efforts to empower our local community. This event is not just about playing bridge; it's also about making a tangible difference in Hammersmith and Fulham.

Instructions for arrival on the 4th November: These will be sent by email by 3pm on the day before.

Scores are entered by players on their phones using the BriAn app-based scoring system. This allows us to declare a winner very soon after the last board is played. If you have not come across BriAn before, you can find out more here.
