Following the success of Café Bridge Esher in April are delighted to announce that Café bridge will be returning to Esher on November 6th — once again supporting local charity Home-Start Elmbridge. Home-Start Elmbridge is an independent family support charity working with vulnerable families in Elmbridge. Supported families can be experiencing a wide range of disadvantages and are struggling to cope. Working alongside parents, Home-Start's early intervention support helps to build independance and resilience, empowering parents to build positive and healthy futures for their young children. Home-Start offers home visiting volunteer support, crisis support, counselling, carer support, peer support groups, playgroups, parenting courses and support for dads through their Dad Matters project. All offerings are free. The support given is compassionate, confidential and as individual as each family.
The event is organized by Michael Brown acting as agent for Home-Start Elmbridge, with local organizer Katherine Freeman, and with Victor Lesk in charge of the cards. The sun always shines on Café Bridge (though not in an extreme fashion), and it is impossible not to have a good time, especially in the company of the friendliest bridge players imaginable.
Our event will open for booking soon.
In the meantime you are welcome to pre-register by contacting michael@cafebridge.org.
