The 20th Antwerp Café Bridge Drive takes place on Saturday 12th September 2015. If past years are anything to go by, it will be a sunny day, and almost 500 pairs will participate, some travelling specially from as far away as Germany, France and even London. The event starts after lunch and runs until about 6pm, with scores being announced within a couple of hours. The registration fee includes vouchers worth a beer (but not quite a coffee) for both players at each venue.
PublicityFor the benefit of intrepid English people, I am organizing a trip to the Antwerp Drive, leaving from St. Pancras on either the Thursday or Friday, and returning on Sunday or Monday evening. Other bridge will be on offer. This trip has been running for five years now, and last year some twenty British pairs joined in.
